More Art With Rodney.

Today we had art lessons with Rodney. We got to bring home the sculptures we made last week.

A few months ago I downloaded a bunch of pictures onto one of our lap tops, which was all fine and dandy except for the fact that the lap top then lost internet access. The pictures were only on that computer. I could of just re-uploaded them on a different computer, but I had recently deleted all the old blog pics off my camera. Eventually, dad fixed the computer, thus recovering internet access, so I quickly put the pictures on the blog, and here they are.

Homemade dolls. Mom made the one in the middle with a sewing machine and real stuffing. I made the other 2.  I hand sewed them and stuffed them with scraps of cloth.

Hopefully, I learned my lesson and will not use that computer again.

Art Lessons.

Every Tuesday morning we get up and go to art lesson's at Jamie Lee's Gallery. Our teacher is Rodney Mercer. We are having a blast!! Here's what we did last week.

The Pan Cake Festiviel.

One morning in the Merrigan house hold, the 1st Pan Cake Festival was held.

Just then the judges announced the winner! Daley and his blue berry lemon pancakes had won!

The Cedar Cove Hike.

Yesterday we went for a hike in Cedar Cove. It was beautiful!! On the way out we say an eagle, but my camera was trapped in my sling pod so I couldn't take a picture of it.

A little ways down the beach there is a large tidal pool filled with crabs.  

Beside the tidal pool is a cliff. Part of it is very low. If you climb it you get this view.

On the way back we found raspberries. Alex is eating some in this picture.

The Plane Exhibition

Today the boys built a plane squadron. All of the planes were really cool. They are currently involved in an epic battle. I gather from the noise that there are lots of explosions and a water bomber was called in. I think they turned the water bomber into a "fighter jet".
